Six HEMP shielded facilities, including two at a remote island in the Bering Sea. The total square footage was in excess of 85,000 SF and included 24 HEMP doors, 89 RF electrical filter cabinet assemblies with MOVs, multiple waveguide penetrations, Pulse Current Injection Testing, RF Attenuation and SELDS testing. Completed 2004.
LMSSC GPS III PIM / EMC Test Facility / Bldg M-114
Fabricated and erected a complete panelized structural steel chamber, self-supporting and independent of parent building incorporating a nominal 5-inch camber, which after loading; settled out to no more than a 1-2-inch camber. All panels were prefabricated using structural member to provide a four-sided frame with intermediate bracing laterally and skinned with shielding plate.
Interior walls and ceiling of structural support system were plated with 11 ga. CRS. The floor received ½ inch CRS. All seams were RF welded.
